As an experiment, I took a really short trip to Berlin last weekend to see if a Saturday and a Sunday was a sufficient amount of time to explore a new city. Unfortunately for me I discovered that it wasn’t, especially when you go into it without a solid plan for what you’ll occupy your time with. BUT, even though I wasn’t able to see as much of Berlin as I had hoped, I nevertheless had a lovely time in my brief encounter with the city.
The only photo I got of the epic party I attended that was hosted in a warehouse space and featured a classical pianist/DJ mash-up, an indoor swing where people were doing Cirque du Soleil-status acrobatics, and a ceiling projection of old Pixar movies. Berlin knows how to throw a party.
One is the loneliest number.
There is so much incredible art on the Berlin Wall. It’s awe-inspiring.
