City Centre.

Last Saturday was my first day all to myself in Amsterdam, so I decided to hoof it to the city centre to walk around, take in the sights, learn how the train system works and how not to get run over by one (which, initially, was more difficult than it sounds), and take some photos. Despite intermittent rain showers that would put Seattle to shame, it ended up being a beautiful day to photograph the lovely and bustling city centre.

  1. love you and all those pics, thank god its mesmerizing

  2. Alyways lovely to see how a newbie discovers my city. Tip when you look for a train in the centre; trains only leave from Central Station (or South or Sloterdijk or Amstel), those yellow or blue-white things that drive through the centre (and don’t stop for bikes, cars or pedestrians) are trams. Enjoy!

  3. PS: But I love your pics!
